Universal Pictures has released the official trailer for Wicked: For Good, the second installment in Jon M. Chu’s two-part adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical. The film reunites Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda, and picks up where the Oscar-nominated Wicked left off.
The film explores the deepening rift and lasting bond between the two witches as Elphaba embraces her identity as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda becomes the Good Witch of the North. In the trailer, Elphaba is hunted by the citizens of Oz. Michelle Yeoh also returns as Madame Morrible, who continues to publicly denounce Elphaba. Meanwhile, Glinda is seemingly marrying Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey). The ensemble also includes Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard, Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, and Bowen Yang as Pfannee.
Wicked: For Good will arrive in theaters Nov. 21.
