Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, best known for her role as Lily Tucker-Pritchett on Modern Family, has come out as bisexual in a playful video nodding to her sitcom roots. The 18-year-old actress and budding pop star lip-synced to a classic scene from the show in which Lily declares, “No I’m not, I’m gay,” in response to a comment from Sofia Vergara’s character, Gloria.

Overlaying the footage, Anderson-Emmons writes, “People keep joking so much abt me being gay when I literally am (I’m bi),” adding the caption: “happy pride month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe” along with the hashtag #bi.

Anderson-Emmons joined Modern Family in season three at age 4 and played Lily until the series wrapped in 2020. In recent years, she’s focused on music under the name Frances Anderson (Frances is her middle name). Following her coming-out post, she teased her upcoming single “Don’t Forget Me,” out June 27, with a video of her slow-dancing with another woman.
