Jennie’s ‘Ruby’ debuts at no. 2 on Billboard chart

The 15-track album features collaborators such as Dua Lipa, Dominic Fike, Doechii and Childish Gambino

Jennie’s studio album Ruby is shining brightly debuting at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart for the week of March 22, with 26,500 copies sold in the United States. The BLACKPINK star also secured a No. 7 debut on the Billboard 200 and landed in the top 10 across 19 countries.

Ruby marks Jennie as the second BLACKPINK member to achieve a solo top 10 on the chart, following Lisa (the first to achieve a solo top 10) and Rosé’s respective releases. The album, released through her own label Oddatelier in partnership with Columbia Records secured an impressive 450,000 pre-orders. 

The album features 15 tracks total and a bevvy of powerhouse collaborations such as “Handlebars” with Dua Lipa, “ExtraL” with Doechii, “Love Hangover” with Dominic Fike and “Damn Right” with Childish Gambin and Kali Uchis. 

Jennie celebrated the release with The Ruby Experience, a series of intimate concerts in Los Angeles, New York, and South Korea. She is also set to receive the Global Force honor at Billboard’s Women in Music event on March 29, and take the stage at Coachella 2025, marking her third appearance at the festival.
