The 2026 Lollapalooza lineup has officially dropped, and it’s a massive year for Asian representation. From K-pop icons taking the main stage, to indie-rock veterans and rising underground stars, the festival (taking place from July 30 to Aug. 2 at Chicago’s Grant Park) is leaning heavily into a diverse array of artists across a multitude of genres.

At the apex of the bill sits BLACKPINK member and solo artist Jennie. Her presence continues the festival’s strong commitment to K-pop acts following performances in years past from acts like J-Hope, NewJeans and TWICE.

Charli XCX is also listed as a headliner, as well as rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. The latter features Japanese American guitarist James Iha

Asian artists are represented across multiple levels of the lineup. In K-pop, girl groups aespa and I-DLE are among the higher-billed acts, joined by newer boy group CORTIS. Filipino boy group SB19 also appears, for P-pop representation. Filipino British singer-songwriter Beabadoobee will add her soft vocals to the Lollapalooza stage.

Japanese artists also have a presence on this year’s poster, with duo YOASOBI and soloist Ado

Beyond solo acts, Asian and Asian diasporic musicians are part of several bands across the lineup. Turnstile drummer Daniel Fang, Whatmore’s Yoshi T, Penelope Road guitarist Koan Roy-Mieghoo, Hot Mulligan guitarist Ryan Malicsi, New Constellations guitarist Kyle Farook, Geese’s drummer Max Bassin and Spacey Jane drummer Kieran Lama, are among those performing in established touring acts. In indie rock, Horsegirl member Nora Cheng, Kim Theory member Zoey Su, and Momma guitarist Aron Kobayashi Ritch are also part of the bill.

The lineup also digs deep into the underground and the avant-garde. INJI, the Turkish singer-songwriter, brings an electronic edge to the weekend, while Nat Myers offers a stark, soulful contrast with his traditional Korean American blues music. The bill further highlights singular artists like Chace, a DJ, producer, and Chinese vocalist and producer. British rapper Fakemink of Indian Punjabi and Algerian descent, and Marlon Funaki, whose Latin Japanese heritage informs an alt-rock sound. Elsewhere, there is the Chinese Irish singer Rachel Brown in Water From Your Eyes, the Sri Lankan Tamil punk energy of Ecca Vandal and Vietnamese American singer-songwriter Bixby.

Presale tickets for Lollapalooza go on sale on Thursday.
