Rosé's hotly anticipated new single, “Messy,” has crossed the finish line. The song and accompanying music video, released Thursday, is part of the upcoming F1 movie soundtrack.
The music video sees Rosé in Las Vegas cityscapes intercut with scenes from the F1 film starring Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris and Kerry Condon. The film, directed by Top Gun: Maverick’s Joseph Kosinski, is set for release on June 27. Its reported budget of more than $300 million is also reflected in the ensemble lineup for the film’s soundtrack released via Atlantic Records: Ed Sheeran, Burna Boy, Tate McRae, Raye, Chris Stapleton, Peggy Gou and more.
Prior to her Met Gala appearance alongside Jennie and Lisa, Rosé attended the Miami Grand Prix weekend, where she waved the chequered flag, toured her own garage and was seen mingling with Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton and legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer among others.
“Messy” marks Rosé’s first release since her solo debut album Rosie in December, which included the chart-topping hit “APT” with Bruno Mars.
