Actress Arden Cho is officially married. The KPop Demon Hunters star tied the knot with orthopedic surgeon Christopher Lee during a multi-day wedding celebration at Villa Cora in Florence, Italy, over the weekend of June 27. Pictures of the wedding however, were not released until earlier this month. The couple, who announced their engagement in March 2025 after meeting on a dating app, celebrated with family and friends in a ceremony that blended Italian scenery with meaningful Korean traditions.
Cho, 40, shared that the wedding was "everything I had hoped for and more," describing the celebration as a fairy tale. The festivities included a hanbok welcome party, two wedding ceremonies, a traditional Korean pyebaek ceremony, and a lively reception. According to Cho, Florence held special significance because it was the place where she realized Lee was "the one."
The wedding weekend wasn't without challenges. The couple's airline misplaced all four checked bags—including Lee's custom tuxedo and the hanboks needed for the traditional ceremony—and extreme summer heat prompted adjustments to the schedule. Despite the setbacks, Cho said the obstacles made the celebration even more meaningful, while Lee reflected that navigating the unexpected together was a fitting way to begin their marriage.
Fashion also played a starring role in the festivities. Cho wore a custom Vera Wang gown for the ceremony before changing into additional custom looks throughout the evening, including a reception mini dress. She also surprised guests by serenading her new husband with Shania Twain's "You're Still the One" during the reception.
Best known as the voice of Rumi in Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, Cho has enjoyed a career resurgence in recent years. Her wedding marks a joyful new chapter for the actress as she balances a growing Hollywood profile with married life.
